A New Medical Device

by Jen

If you have ever had to use forearm crutches or know someone that has, retrieving them after they’ve slipped or fallen over after successfully leaning them close by can be a nightmare for the user. Especially when there is high probability of the user injuring or reinjuring themselves attempting to get their mobility device back.

It can be truly said that for every problem there is a solution, to prevent the user of forearm crutches from injuring or reinjuring themselves trying to pick up the fallen crutches the solution is to fit the crutch with an instrument that when deployed creates 3 points of contact with the ground and also adheres the two crutches together. This then allows the pair of forearm crutches to be freestanding and easily retrievable by the user at any time without the fear of extra injury or reinjury. The 3-part instrument is easy to attach and even easier to use, making it ideal for anyone who uses forearm crutches.
